We are working on behalf of this large Secondary school in Wokingham who are expanding their MFL team. As an MFL Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching French, Spanish, or German up to GCSE level. You will play a crucial role in fostering a love for languages, developing students' skills, and preparing them for their examinations. You will join a supportive and collaborative department that values innovative teaching methods and continuous professional development.
Ideal start date - Easter Term
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French, Spanish, or German.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and language clubs to enrich student experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in MFL within the UK.
- Proven experience teaching French, Spanish, or German up to GCSE level.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student achievement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to professional development and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
