Description
We are working with a welcoming and high-performing primary school in the Clapham area of South London, close to excellent transport links. The school is seeking a French-speaking Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, with the opportunity to move to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in a vibrant, inclusive setting with a strong focus on language learning and global citizenship.
The Role:

Supporting pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1/2 in class and small group settings

Using French language skills to support bilingual learning and communication
-
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparation, and behaviour support
-
Providing targeted support to pupils who need additional help
-
Contributing to a positive, nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Fluent or near-fluent French speaker
-
Experience working with children in a primary school or early years setting (UK experience desirable)
-
Passionate about education and child development
-
Patient, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Eligible to work in the UK and able to start immediately
