We are currently recruiting a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Haringey. This is a full-time, long-term position, starting immediately, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The school is Ofsted rated Good, recognised for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership team, and strong focus on pupil wellbeing and progress. The SEN provision is well established, and staff work closely together to ensure children with additional needs are supported both academically and emotionally.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

• Supporting pupils with EHCPs across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

• Assisting with learning, engagement, and emotional regulation

• Implementing strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO

• Supporting social development and positive behaviour

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)

• Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

• Available full time and able to start ASAP
