Chalk Education is currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within an EYFS unit at a mainstream primary school in St Helens.

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children in their early years and helping them to achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• EYFS unit within a mainstream primary school
• St Helens
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm
• Immediate start available
• Immediate telephone interview with Wendy at Chalk Education

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. You will need to be confident working with young children and able to create positive, nurturing relationships within the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who:

• Holds a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Has experience working with children, ideally within an EYFS or primary school setting
• Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
• Is caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Has a good understanding of safeguarding within an educational setting
• Can commit to working full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm

• References confirming suitability for the role
• Commitment to safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
