Job Title: Experienced One to One SEND Support for SEN School
Location: Prescott, Liverpool L35
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (until July 2025)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Chalk Education is seeking an experienced and compassionate One to One SEND Support for a SEN school in Prescott, Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational journey of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with Autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support to students with Autism and other learning difficulties.
- Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs and help students engage with their curriculum.
- Support students with personal care and day-to-day activities as needed.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff members to develop and implement effective support strategies.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or adults with Autism, ideally within a school or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Commitment to safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting SEND students.
- Enhanced DBS check (Chalk Education can support with this if you do not already have one).
