A wonderful, 2-form entry primary school in Basingstoke is searching for a Learning Support Assistant to delve into a world of education and fun! As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be at the forefront of fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for a diverse range of students, including those with mild SEND.

The role involves providing tailored support to individuals or small groups, ensuring every student has the chance to thrive academically and personally. Whether it's assisting with classroom activities, delivering one-to-one sessions, or collaborating with teachers and parents, Learning Support Assistants play a vital role in empowering students to reach their full potential.

Experience supporting children and possessing a clean DBS are essential for this role, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the students. If needed, we can assist you with obtaining a DBS. If you have previous experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), that's fantastic – it's a bonus that is highly valued! Your relevant experience could come from various backgrounds, whether it's in a similar classroom setting, tutoring, sports coaching, childcare, or even personal parenting experience.

 

The Role: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
