Chalk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in South Liverpool to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, supporting pupils across the primary age range.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils who require additional help with their learning
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Assist pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
• Help create a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment
• Support pupils with both academic and social development

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has previous experience working with children in a primary school setting (desirable)
• Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Is reliable and able to commit to a full-time role
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
