Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: L16, Liverpool, Merseyside
About the Role
Chalk Education is recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist secondary school supporting pupils aged 11–19 with complex learning difficulties.
As an LSA, you will work closely with students who may have a variety of special educational needs – including moderate to severe learning difficulties, speech, language and communication needs, autism spectrum conditions, and other additional needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed
- Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of individual students
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ, CACHE, BTEC) are a bonus but not essential
