Chalk Education is excited to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in South Liverpool that is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of pupils across various year groups. You’ll work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to help children reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils
• Support children with additional needs to access the curriculum
• Assist with classroom activities and lesson preparation
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to pupil progress reviews

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with children in a primary school or educational setting
• A passion for helping young learners thrive
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, flexible, and proactive attitude
• Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential)
