In this role, you’ll provide personalized support to individuals or small groups with mild additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, MLD, and sensory-related challenges, helping every student thrive both academically and personally. Whether it’s assisting with classroom activities, delivering one-on-one sessions, or working closely with teachers and parents, Learning Support Assistants are key in empowering students to achieve their full potential.
Experience supporting children and possessing a clean DBS are essential for this role, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the students. If needed, we can assist you with obtaining a DBS. If you have previous experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), that's fantastic – it's a bonus that is highly valued! Your relevant experience could come from a variety backgrounds, whether it's in a similar classroom setting, tutoring, sports coaching, childcare, or even personal parenting experience!
