As a Learning Mentor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the educational and personal growth of children with mild additional needs. You'll work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide personalised support, offer one-on-one assistance to overcome learning barriers, and adapt classroom materials and methods. Additionally, you'll develop plans to boost students' confidence and social skills while fostering positive relationships with parents to support holistic development.
We’re looking for candidates with experience supporting children, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This could be from classroom support, tutoring, or sports coaching. A clean DBS check registered to the update service or a willingness to apply for one is required, and while teaching or SEND qualifications are a plus, strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to help children succeed are essential.
