Job Title: Year 6 General Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Long-Term) – Hackney

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Year 6 General Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Hackney. This is a full-time, long-term position, starting asap.
As a key member of the classroom team, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education, helping children reach their full potential in a school rated positively by Ofsted for its strong leadership, excellent pupil outcomes, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
- Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Experience working in KS2 (Key Stage 2) classrooms
- DBS on the update service
- Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
