About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Year 6 General Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Hackney. This is a full-time, long-term position, starting asap.

As a key member of the classroom team, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education, helping children reach their full potential in a school rated positively by Ofsted for its strong leadership, excellent pupil outcomes, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
• Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
• Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Experience working in KS2 (Key Stage 2) classrooms
• DBS on the update service
• Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
