As part of our continued drive to raise achievement and support our pupils, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Intervention Teacher to join chalk education in supporting the schools around the Bolton area.

About the role 

As an Intervention Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting pupils who need additional help to reach their academic potential. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and other key areas.

Responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver high-quality intervention sessions for small groups or individual pupils
• Use data and assessments to identify learning gaps and track progress
• Collaborate with teaching staff to align intervention strategies with classroom learning
• Provide feedback to pupils, parents, and staff on progress and next steps
• Contribute to the development of inclusive teaching practices across the school

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
• Experienced in delivering targeted support, ideally in primary or secondary settings
• Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
• A strong communicator and team player
