Chalk Education are working with a Pupil referral Unit in West Drayton seeking to Employ HLTA's Tutors and Teachers.
Job Description
You will be required to deliver creative and interactive English and functional skills lessons in an engaging way to small groups of students of mixed ages and abilities as well as on a 1-1 basis. You will need the ability to cover a range of mathematical areas and require good knowledge across this, your specialist area.
Excellent behaviour management is necessary yet with a calm but firm approach. You will be working alongside a supportive staff team ensuring a positive and safe learning environment is provided for all students.
Alongside the staff, you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
The ideal candidate will:-
- Be able to resonate with children from challenging backgrounds
- Be flexible and able to change plans.

- References confirming suitability for role
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
