Secondary Teaching Assistant – Knowsley

Start Date: Immediate / September 2025

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Chalk Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to support students across schools in Knowsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a rewarding role, working closely with teachers to inspire, engage, and support young people in their learning journey.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to students who may need additional help.
• Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
• Helping students develop both academically and socially.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students (school, tutoring, mentoring, or youth work experience welcome).
• Are passionate about education and making a positive impact.
• Can demonstrate patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
• Hold (or are willing to apply for) a valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
