About the Role: An excellent secondary school located in N14 is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and Cover Supervisor specialising in English. The successful candidate will provide essential classroom support, deliver lessons in English, and manage classes effectively in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support in English lessons, enhancing student understanding and achievement.
• Effectively cover and deliver pre-set lesson plans in teacher absence.
• Maintain classroom discipline, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
• Assist in the preparation and assessment of English classroom materials.
• Engage positively with students, fostering a passion for English language and literature.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as an HLTA or Cover Supervisor, particularly in secondary schools.
• Strong command of English with excellent communication skills.
• Confidence managing classes independently.
• A proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills.
• Passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential.
