We are seeking an enthusiastic English Cover Teacher to join a dynamic secondary Grammar school which is one of the top 100 schools in the UK, The role will involve delivering lessons that are already planned. Students work off Ipads and the school is paperless. You will still be required to deliver engaging lessons and maintaining continuity in the absence of regular teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Engage and inspire students with creative teaching methods.
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a smooth learning experience.
• Provide feedback to permanent teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
