Chalk Education is working on behalf of a well-established and supportive specialist provision in Chester to recruit an experienced and resilient Education Mentor. The role involves supporting pupils from Primary through to College age who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm. It will begin on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role offers a daily rate of £95, moving to an annual salary of £24,000 if taken on permanently, with the added benefit of being paid during school holidays.

Essential Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour
- Strong background in working with SEMH and/or ASD
- Confidence in managing behaviour and building positive, trusting relationships
- Ability to support both in and outside of the classroom across a wide age range
- Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term role
