Chalk Education is delighted to be partnering with a well-established specialist school in Woking, Surrey, to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Complex Needs Support Worker. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and wants to make a meaningful impact every day.

The school provides a welcoming, inclusive, and highly supportive environment for students aged 3-19. With excellent facilities, including sensory spaces, therapy rooms, and specialist learning areas, the school is committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential. Students have a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, PMLD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), complex medical needs, and behavioural challenges. Individual needs are at the heart of everything the school does, with personalised support delivered through EHCP-led provision.

In this rewarding role, you will provide tailored 1:1 support to students throughout the school day, helping them access learning, build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their personal goals. Working alongside teachers, therapists, and a dedicated support team, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every young person can thrive.

We're seeking an experienced and caring individual with previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND and complex needs. You should be confident working with a variety of needs, including providing personal care when required, and be committed to delivering high-quality support. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although support can be provided to obtain one. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
