Chalk Education is currently recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Nurse / Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant and welcoming Nursery unit within a mainstream Primary School in South Liverpool.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual who holds a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and has a strong background working within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality support in a child-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the learning and development of children in the EYFS setting
• Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Promoting a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Collaborating effectively with teaching staff and parents
• Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all children at all times

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent
• Recent experience working within an EYFS setting
• A proactive and caring approach to working with children
• Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
