Are you a compassionate and experienced classroom-based professional with a passion for supporting children with autism? A welcoming Catholic primary school in the Liverpool L6 area is seeking a dedicated SEND 1:1 Support Assistant to join their team full-time from September.

About the Role:

• Providing 1:1 support for a child with autism within the classroom setting
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver tailored learning support
• Supporting the child’s emotional, social, and academic development
• Maintaining a nurturing and inclusive environment in line with the school's Catholic ethos

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with autism in a classroom-based setting (essential)
• A patient, proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• An understanding of or willingness to support the values of a Catholic school community
