Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience in Special Educational Needs?
Do you have experience of supporting students with ASD/SEMH/Challenging behaviours?
The Provision provides a bespoke curriculum to young people who are not able to access mainstream education. Students have a range of SEND including Social Emotional & Mental Health, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Pupils may display challenging behaviour, so excellent behaviour management is essential with knowledge of a range of de-escalation techniques.
Requirements:
- Experience within SEN (Ideally SEMH / ASD- challenging behaviour).
- Experience in a school/care/residential setting.
- Be able to use own initiative and want to help students progress.
Additional requirements:
- References confirming suitability for role
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
