Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? An innovative alternative provision in Enfield (EN1) is seeking Behaviour Mentors to join their team immediately. This specialist setting supports students from Key Stage 3 (KS3) to Key Stage 4 (KS4) who have been permanently excluded, are at risk of exclusion, or need extra guidance to successfully reintegrate into mainstream education. About the Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Motivate and encourage students (aged 11–16) to engage with their education, both academically and emotionally.
  • Be a key role model, helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and grow in confidence.
  • Work alongside a skilled and supportive team dedicated to empowering students who need it most.

We want energetic, creative, and compassionate individuals who thrive on seeing young people succeed, no matter the obstacles. Ideal candidates will have a background in supporting Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour, with a genuine commitment to helping students reach their full potential.

Skills & Experience Needed

  • Experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour (highly desirable)
  • TeamTeach training is a plus, but not essential – enthusiasm and commitment matter most
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Passion for helping students unlock their potential and develop resilience
