Pay Rate £90 – 120 per day (PAYE)

A vibrant three-form entry primary school located in Brent, NW10, is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to provide support for pupils across Key Stage 1. This full-time position starts ASAP and extends through the next academic year, ending in July 2025.

Are you passionate about making a difference in young lives? We are seeking an energetic, creative, and motivational Behaviour Mentor to join this dynamic primary school’s community. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will inspire and support our pupils, helping them to navigate their educational journey and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and Support: Work closely with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Challenging Behaviour, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborative Safeguarding: Partner with our dedicated staff to safeguard and protect the welfare of our children and young people, ensuring a safe and nurturing school environment.
  • Personalised Assistance: Provide targeted support through small group sessions and one-on-one interactions, tailoring your approach to meet each pupil’s unique needs.

While having Team Teach training is a plus, your dedication to making a difference is what truly matters. This is a unique opportunity to become a positive role model and make a lasting impact on our students' lives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience with Challenging Behaviour: You have a track record of working effectively with students who exhibit challenging behaviours.
  • Strong Behaviour Management Skills: You possess the ability to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Team Teach Training: Highly desirable but not essential; we value your commitment to learning and development.
  • Dedication and Passion for Education: You are committed to fostering a positive learning environment and passionate about supporting the holistic development of young learners

  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
