Chalk Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate behaviour mentor to provide guidance and support to children in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping young adults develop their skills and confidence, particularly in areas such as sports, vocational subjects, social and emotional development. This role requires a proactive individual who can foster a positive environment and promote the overall development of each young person.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one mentoring to students, focusing on their academic and personal growth.
- Assist in teaching physical education, ensuring students engage in healthy activities that promote physical fitness.
- Utilise applied behaviour analysis techniques to encourage positive behaviour and learning outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's development.
- Support children with special educational needs by implementing tailored strategies and interventions.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to students and their families on academic performance and personal development.
Skills
- Experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs or behavioural challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults alike.
- A genuine passion for mentoring and educating young learners, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to growth.
