Job Title: One-to-One Behaviour Support Assistant – SEND School (Liverpool)
Salary: From £94 per day
Contract: Full Time, Long Term (Full Academic Year)

Chalk Education are currently recruiting for an experienced One-to-One Behaviour Support Assistant to join a dedicated team at a welcoming SEND school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting a child with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role:

You will work on a 1:1 basis with a student requiring consistent, nurturing support within a classroom setting. Your role will be essential in helping them access learning and manage their emotional and behavioural needs throughout the school day.

Requirements:

• Previous classroom-based experience working with children with SEMH is essential
• Ability to build trust, remain calm under pressure, and implement strategies to support behaviour
• Committed to supporting one child for the full academic year
• Must be confident working in a SEND school environment
• Reliability, consistency, and a child-centred approach are key
