Job Title: Attendance and Welfare Officer
Location: Secondary School in Stamford Hill, N16
Pay Rate: £16 - £20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track student attendance using Bromcom, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
• Identify and address patterns of non-attendance by liaising with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
• Provide guidance and support to students and families facing attendance barriers, working to promote positive engagement.
• Collaborate with school leadership and pastoral teams to develop and implement attendance improvement strategies.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on attendance data and welfare concerns.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Attendance and Welfare Officer in a school setting.
• Proficient in using Bromcom for attendance management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, compassionate approach to student welfare.
