Job Title: Attendance and Welfare Officer
Location: Secondary School in Stamford Hill, N16
Pay Rate: £16 - £20 per hour
Are you an experienced Attendance and Welfare Officer looking for your next challenge? Our reputable secondary school in Stamford Hill, N16, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team and ensure students’ attendance and wellbeing remain top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track student attendance using Bromcom, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Identify and address patterns of non-attendance by liaising with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
- Provide guidance and support to students and families facing attendance barriers, working to promote positive engagement.
- Collaborate with school leadership and pastoral teams to develop and implement attendance improvement strategies.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on attendance data and welfare concerns.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Attendance and Welfare Officer in a school setting.
- Proficient in using Bromcom for attendance management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, compassionate approach to student welfare.
