Learning Support Assistant
Pay Rate: £90 to £110 per day
Location: South Manchester and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Long term, full time

Chalk Education are working closely with a range of Primary and SEN schools across South Manchester to recruit experienced and committed Learning Support Assistants. These roles involve working alongside teachers to deliver targeted support to pupils who may need additional help with their academic, emotional or social development.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to build confidence, stay engaged, and reach their individual goals. You’ll be involved in adapting learning materials, promoting inclusion and ensuring every child feels valued and supported throughout the school day.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, patient and genuinely enjoys helping children succeed. You will work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to ensure pupils’ needs are met in a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment.
To be considered for this Learning Support Assistant role you will need:

Experience supporting children in a classroom or learning support capacity

The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

A caring, adaptable and encouraging approach to helping children learn

A genuine commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of all pupils

Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
