Are you a passionate and energetic PE Teacher looking to make a real difference?
We’re working with a fantastic SEN school in the heart of Tower Hamlets (E2) that caters specifically to pupils with autism. The school is seeking a dynamic and compassionate PE Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a permanent basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a purposeful teaching role where every lesson helps build not just physical ability, but confidence, routine, and joy in pupils who thrive with the right support.
The role:
- Delivering inclusive and engaging PE lessons to pupils with autism, tailored to individual needs
- Promoting physical development, teamwork, and social skills
- Working collaboratively with a skilled multidisciplinary team including therapists and SEN support staff
- Contributing to whole-school wellbeing and enrichment initiatives
The school is looking for:
- A qualified PE teacher (QTS or QTLS) with a genuine interest in working in a SEN setting
- Experience working with children or young people with autism (desirable but not essential)
- Someone adaptable, patient, and committed to inclusive practice
- A team player with a good sense of humour and a proactive approach
