We’re looking for passionate graduates to join our partner Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) schools in Camden. This is your opportunity to combine your understanding of social dynamics, safeguarding, and holistic support to help shape brighter futures.
The Role:
As a key member of the school’s support team, you will:
- Work directly with students who have faced significant challenges, including behavioural, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
- Use your social work background to understand each child’s individual needs, building trusting relationships that foster resilience, self-confidence, and improved wellbeing.
- Assist in delivering tailored interventions and small group sessions that address emotional regulation, social skills, and positive engagement.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure that every learner receives the academic and therapeutic support they need.
- Be a vital part of a network that includes external agencies, parents/carers, and mental health professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to student care.
About You:
We’re seeking graduates who:
- Hold a degree in Social Work (or a related field) and are looking to transition into an educational environment.
- Demonstrate compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable young people.
- Possess strong communication and relationship-building abilities, as well as an interest in restorative practices.
- Thrive in a team-focused setting, eager to contribute to the school’s inclusive ethos.
