1:1 Teaching Assistant

Chalk Education is working in partnership with a primary school located in the L15 area of Liverpool, which is part of a respected Multi Academy Trust. We are currently recruiting for an experienced and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs on a full-time, long-term basis.

About the Role:

• Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with specific educational and/or behavioural needs
• Assisting in delivering individualised learning programmes under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring and recording progress against the pupil’s individual targets

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• Proven ability to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A calm, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning
• Full-time availability (part-time applications will not be considered)

Start Date and Duration:

• The role will begin in September 2025
• This is a long-term position, offering stability and the opportunity to make a lasting impact
