Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil with additional needs at a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Hackney.
This is a full-time, long-term position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support, ensuring the pupil’s academic and emotional needs are met.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach.
- Be experienced in working 1:1 with children with SEN, particularly those with behavioural needs.
- Be patient, consistent, and committed to helping every child succeed.
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Requirements:
- Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
