Youth Worker – School Based

Chalk are currently looking for teaching assistants to work in a number of additional needs schools based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Working within a Multi Academy Trust, these are excellent opportunities to work within amazing settings!

The schools provides alternative education for learners of all ages with complex learning difficulties. The learners have a range of difficulties including moderate to severe learning difficulties, ASC, medical and physical disabilities with associated behavioural problems.

These roles are within the school's Autism Base, where uou will be responsible for supporting learners with ASC, within a classroom setting and during their lunch time. Working within small groups, throughout a assigned Key Stage, it will be vital that you are confident and have the ability to inspire young people.

This is a temporary role, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right applicant. If you have experience within special education and are looking for your next role please don’t hesitate to get in touch regarding this position.
