Youth Mentor
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Chalk Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Mentor to work in Liverpool, supporting young people throughout the school day. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact by helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and positive behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring support
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
• Support emotional, social, and behavioural development
• Encourage engagement, motivation, and positive decision-making
• Work closely with staff to support individual needs and goals

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (education, youth work, mentoring, or similar)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Ability to act as a positive role model
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Additional requirements:

• References confirming suitability for role
• Commitment to Safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
