Job Description

Working as a Teaching Assistant supporting young people in the classroom is one of the most rewarding roles you can have, seeing their development and growth, enabling them to complete the required tasks and staying on track for their own academic goals.

The main aspect of your role will likely be working 1-2-1 with a young person in the classroom, as well as assisting the teacher in setting up the classroom and any additional support they might require.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role you will need:

· Experience supporting young people with SEND

· Excellent communication skills

· The ability to build and develop positive relationships with students and staff

· A flexible and patient approach when working with children

Additional requirements:

o References confirming suitability for role

o Commitment to Safeguarding

o Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service

o Eligibility to work in the UK
