We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team who is able to offer interventions on a 1-1 basis as well as sports coaching. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes of all skill levels. This role involves creating training programmes, fostering teamwork, and instilling a love for the sport in participants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
• Educate athletes on the rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport.
• Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all participants are engaged and learning effectively.
• Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among players.
• Organise and lead competitive events, ensuring all logistical aspects are managed effectively.
• Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and development.
• Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and sports developments to continually improve coaching methods.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire athletes.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
• Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules and events efficiently.
• A passion for sports and a commitment to promoting physical fitness among participants.
• Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
