As the successful Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in shaping young lives. You will work closely with small groups of Key Stage 1 pupils who experience difficulties in communication, focusing on speech sounds, synthetic phonics, and narrative skills as guided by our dedicated Speech Therapist.
Your ability to jump right in and connect at all levels within the school community will be crucial. Together with our supportive staff, you will be responsible for safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of our children and young people.

Previous experience working with SEND and knowledge of Makaton and PECS is essential for this role.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience with Speech and Language difficulties.
- Proficiency in PECS and Makaton.
- A dedication and passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
