Catering to pupils aged between 2– 16 years old with ASD, complex needs, and challenging behaviour, this school provides a vibrant community where your impact truly matters.

Job Description:
This SEND School are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for working with ASD pupils. Experience with PECS or Makaton is highly desirable, though not essential. Most importantly, the ideal special needs teaching assistant will possess a calm demeanour, be adept at de-escalating challenging situations, and exhibit a proactive, can-do attitude. The successful SEN teaching assistant will play a crucial role in safeguarding and protecting the welfare of our children, collaborating closely with our supportive and dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEN Support: Assist pupils with  Autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviour.
  • Specialist Skills: Experience with PECS and Makaton is advantageous.
  • Commitment: Full-time role, Monday to Friday.
