Job Description
We are seeking an ideal SEN Teaching Assistant with a genuine love for working with ASD pupils. Experience with PECS or Makaton is highly desirable, though not essential. What’s most important is a calm demeanour, the ability to skillfully de-escalate challenging situations, and a proactive, can-do attitude. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding and protecting the welfare of our children and young people, working closely with a supportive and dedicated staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEN Teaching Assistant: Experience with SLD, complex needs, and challenging behaviour is a big plus!
- Expertise in PECS and Makaton: These skills are highly desirable!
- Commitment: Full-time role from Monday to Friday
