Chalk Education is recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to work with pupils displaying challenging behaviours in a Warrington-based school.
This rewarding role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people who need additional emotional and behavioural support.
The Role

Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours in a positive, proactive manner.

Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour plans.

Helping create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements

UK experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviours (school or care setting).
- Full time availability

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Patience, empathy, and resilience.

A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one.
