Job Description
SEN TA
Chalk are currently looking for teaching assistants to work in a number of special needs schools based in Runcorn - these are excellent opportunities to work within an amazing setting!
The schools provides alternative education for learners of all ages with complex learning difficulties. The learners have a range of difficulties including moderate to severe learning difficulties, ASD, medical and physical disabilities with associated behavioural problems.
You will be responsible for supporting learners within a classroom setting and during their lunch time. Working within small groups, throughout a assigned Key Stage, it will be vital that you are confident and have the ability to inspire young people. Must have
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (we can support with this)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- 2 professional references
- Strong behaviour management
- Experience working with children/young people with SEND
- A flexible approach and caring attitude
