Chalk Education is thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic school in Farnborough that provides exceptional education to children with a wide range of additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASD), and Behavioural Challenges (EBD). The school is now seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide personalised support to students with diverse needs. Whether helping them understand new concepts, offering emotional guidance, or assisting with daily activities, your enthusiasm and positivity will make a real difference.

Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll implement tailored learning plans, adapting teaching methods and resources to suit each student. You’ll provide one-to-one support, facilitate group activities, and help foster independence, social skills, and self-confidence. You’ll also play an important role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

A clean DBS and prior experience supporting SEND children—professionally or personally—are essential. Relevant experience could include childcare, tutoring, nursery work, sports coaching, or classroom support. If you don’t yet have a DBS, we can assist you in obtaining one.
