The Role

• Teaching Assistant – Autism Support
• Full-time, Monday – Friday, starting ASAP
• Support learners on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping deliver engaging and creative lessons
• Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to ensure students' individual needs are met
• Safeguard and protect the welfare of children and young people

Ideal Candidate

• A compassionate individual with a passion for working with children and young people with SEND
• Flexible, innovative, and able to adapt to the varied needs of the students
• Enthusiastic about helping students thrive both academically and personally
• Eager to learn and grow professionally in a supportive SEND setting

To be considered for this role you will need:

• Demonstrable knowledge of and a passion for SEND
• Makaton and PECS -not essential but highly desirable
• Experience working with Complex Needs and ASD

• References confirming suitability for the role
• Commitment to Safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
