About the Role:
We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities. Our 'Outstanding' rated school caters to children aged 4-11 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex needs, and challenging behaviors.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Prior experience with SLD, complex needs, or challenging behavior is advantageous.
- Skills: Familiarity with PECS or Makaton is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
- Qualities: You should possess a calm demeanor, skilled in de-escalating challenging situations, and have a proactive, positive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Responsibilities: Your role will be crucial in safeguarding the welfare of our children, contributing to a safe and nurturing environment.
