Chalk Education are working with a School in Wigan which supports students with a wide range of additional needs, and are seeking to recruit a Teacher to their staff team.

Job Description

You will be required to deliver creative and interactive lessons in an engaging way to small groups of students of mixed ages and abilities. You will need the ability to cover a range of areas and require good knowledge across.

Excellent behaviour management is necessary yet with a calm but firm approach. You will be working alongside a supportive staff team ensuring a positive and safe learning environment is provided for all students.

Alongside the staff, you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

The ideal candidate will:-

• Be able to teach KS1-4
• Be flexible and able to change plans.

• References confirming suitability for role
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
• Eligibility to work in the UK
