Pay Rate: £88 - £120 per day depending on experience (PAYE)
A vibrant and happy ‘Good’ Secondary school based in Camden, NW5, urgently seeks Secondary Learning Support Assistants to empower students in accessing the curriculum or providing extra challenge to extend their learning.
About the Role:
- Position: Full-time, long-term role starting ASAP, continuing until July 2025
- Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs
- Collaborate closely with a supportive and dedicated inclusion team
- Assist in differentiating tasks to meet diverse learning needs
- Conduct focused sessions with small groups or individual students
- Uphold safeguarding standards to ensure the welfare of children and young people
Job Description: The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: Previous work with SEND and secondary aged pupils (11-16 years old)
- Skills: Strong behaviour management skills and a passion for education
- Qualities: Dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments
Additional requirements:
- References confirming suitability for role
- Commitment to Safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
