An outstanding secondary school in Brent, NW10, is looking for 2 SEN Learning Support Assistants to provide classroom and pastoral support for a group of Year 9 pupils with ADHD.
Job Description
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have a calm nature and excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a proactive attitude and the desire to go above and beyond the call of duty. This SEN Learning Support Assistant role involves providing dedicated 1:1 support to specific children with ADHD, running interventions, and providing detailed reports to the school SENCO.
The school is looking for SEND Learning Support Assistants who are committed to making a difference in the progress and achievement of their pupils. Alongside the staff, you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
This is a full-time role – Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, starting ASAP and continuing through to the end of the academic year (July 2025).
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience with ADHD
- Behaviour management skills
- Dedication and passion for education
