Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Chalk Education are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a team in Haydock, St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact in a child's educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a student with special educational needs.
- Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs and interventions.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to monitor progress.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote engagement.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting.
- Understanding of various special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to helping students thrive.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable.

- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
