A vibrant specialist school nestled in the heart of the Guildford countryside, dedicated to supporting 70 students with social, emotional, and mental health needs is eagerly searching for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their amazing team. This school is all about making a positive impact in the lives of children with SEMH needs, and they need someone like you to help them on this exciting journey!
You'll be a rock for incredible SEMH children as they navigate the complexities of behaviour and mental health challenges. You'll be their steadfast source of stability and encouragement, helping them manage their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build positive relationships. Through personalized interventions and compassionate guidance, you'll play a vital role in their daily lives, contributing to their overall well-being and success.
No prior experience in a similar role? No problem! Personal experience supporting SEND is just as valuable! A clean DBS is essential, and if you need help with your application, we're here to assist!
If you're aspiring to be an educational or occupational psychologist, therapeutic support worker, or SEND teacher, this role is an exciting pathway for growth and success! This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring psychologists to collaborate closely with on-site therapists and psychologists. You'll receive mentorship and have the chance to shadow sessions, gaining invaluable insights along the way.
