SEMH Teaching Assistant – Childwall, Liverpool

Chalk Education is recruiting an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist attachment and trauma-informed SEMH school in Childwall, Liverpool.

This role is suited to someone confident working with challenging behaviour and able to maintain clear, consistent boundaries while building positive relationships with pupils.

Key Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
• Strong behaviour management and boundary-setting skills
• Calm, resilient, and patient approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

The Role Includes:

• 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting emotional regulation and engagement in learning
• Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
